Cutfather
Cutfather
(civil name Mich Hedin Hansen) is a Danish producer, Songwriter, remixer and DJ.
He is perhaps best known for his remix of "Return of the Mack" by Mark Morrisson (1996), and the song "Superstar"
released by Jamelia (2003). In 2015 the song "Up" by Olly Murs feat. Demi Lovato became a big international hit.
He has worked with Danish producer Jonas Jeberg, written and produced for Pussycat Dolls, Kylie Minogue and Jordin Sparks. With Joe Balmaati he has worked in the song writing and production team Cutfather & Joe. As part of the latter partnership he produced for Peter Andre, Ace of Base and Kylie Minogue. In 2003 he received the prestigious Ivor Novello-Award for Best Performing song for "Superstar", which was the most played song in the UK that year. Cutfather has also been judge in Danish X-Factor TV show.
Cutfather is credited with 7 number 1 singles, 37 top 10 singles in the UK and 4 top 10 singles in the U.S. Other artists Cutfather has produced or remixed music for include The Corrs, Brandy, Santana, Shayne Ward, Blue, Christina Aguilera, Angie Stone and most recent Pixie Lott.
Cutfather owns a studio in Copenhagen, Denmark where he uses
EVE Audio's SC407.

Cutfather: "I have chosen EVE Audio monitors because they have a very good definition and clear sound over the complete
frequency range. In my studio I have different sets of monitors from all kinds of brands who all have their benefits,
but most of the time I end up using EVE Audio SC407."
